After a awkward moment with Esteban and Camila, Manuel drops her to gain his brothers trust or smth. Later while he gets a infection in his leg, he dies in madness

María and Pepita travel to a church from Lima. On the way they cross the bridge, and while residing in the town they argue over sending a letter. It does not get sent and María claims she will begin again and become a different person. Two days later they die on the bridge.
