Status Updates From The Lions of Little Rock

Reading for my fifth graders (they are starting over break) and I’m actually really enjoying so far!! Pre galentines night quick read —> writing style flows well and I’m interested to learn the story because it actually happened and I have to teach about it —> but the friendship / historical fiction plot is so sweet so far and I’m loving it

You can definitely tell this is a children’s historical fiction book but I’m honestly really enjoying it. Such a smooth read and a wonderful story.
