This book continues to feel like a drag with each passing chapter. I would have already DNFed this book, but for the fact that the trilogy already occupies precious space on my shelf. Also, I fear, that if I decide to let go, and pick it up later in the future, I would remember nothing & would have to go through the torturous ordeal to re-read this sorry excuse of a story. Better to be done with it & move on.

Till now, the book feels like a drag. The characters are bland no matter how much the author wants to infuse them with aura. The story feels like a dishonest adaptation of Mahabharat, & counts on the reader's prior knowlege about the Original Epic to move forward with the plot. A wannabe Amish impersonation, but with not quite the talent at storytelling. Which is clearly different than her talent at writing.
