I enjoyed this book!! I’ve enjoyed anything Charles Carr narrates so far.

pretty good so far except:
1) moving kind of fast don't you think?
2) Kids Don't Talk Like That
3) i've seen worse fatphobia but this is still ugly

This is a really intriguing paranormal novel and I'm loving it

I'm thinking someone set Menghini up to believe that Macy's dad stole from him. He sounds compelled like that guy from the hotel. Someone really wanted this to look like it was about a bad drug deal. Where the fuck is Macy?

Dayum. And now Jase gets his head bashed in.

Why did telling Lucas he would protect him make Jase's insides react like that? Because he can't protect both Lucas and Macy?

Why hasn't Jase thought that maybe one of those people Phillip told him about that does the opposite of what they do to save people might be mixed up in all of this?
