It’s very hard to follow the plot so far and not going to lie it’s hard to understand what is happening.

again this book definitely has something to say about bread and circuses and capitalism but the writing is just. bad.

kinda like how you don't talk about the rest of the world!! nothing is talked about, just summarized

because this author has used "pad" twice as a verb

Honestly I don't understand what is happening, the writing isn't very clear. Things just happen and the story doesn't stay in the moment long enough for me to grasp what is happening. I've had to reread pages a few times just to make sure I've understood that something has happened.
