Status Updates From Cardboard

My Book is Cardboard by Doug TenNapel. The theme of my book is Change. The reason I put change is because the dad is losing hope. After all, he can't get a job right now, and he's getting closer to his son.

My favorite character name is Bill, who is a professional boxer made out of magical cardboard, and also is the protagonist's best friend.

My favorite character so far is Bill, a cardboard boxer champion.

I chose this book because my last book just wasn't cutting it. Even after reading it, I was still lost, but this book, CARBOARD, I like so far. Mike buys a gift for his birthday, and he buys a cardboard box that ends up coming to life.

Again and again, my grandchildren expand my horizons. I never imagined looking forward to reading a graphic novel. Especially a graphic *fantasy* novel. But it's the first thing my grandson grabs during our reading time. Sometimes we pause and look at the pictures before I read the squares. This book is building bonds between us.
