C81-years in the future, S becomes a doctor & finds a cure for cancer, the specific type that V had. V had covered S’s tuition, he only survived 3 months after the night in the hospital but changed his will to cover her education at an Ivy League. Construction workers find carvings in walls & the hourglass.

Epilogue C80-S was rushed to hospital, her mother called to wish a happy NY & she snapped out of it. On the gurney next to S was V, he & Roger had a special word to cut the plan off & V called it, the word was Grace.

C79-D wakes at the base of the tower, turns around & runs back to A. D&A watch the sunset as they always did & slowly their bodies give out. Once their eyes closed; they rose together as a shared soul.

C78-old man says D is dying, that the cave wasn’t a punishment but rather a blessing to learn to appreciate life. He places a ring of D’s fingers, says they will all get to finish their story’s.

C77-D struggles with time being frozen, the ancient curse is taking him. V&S decide to take D back in time, they agree to stay together no matter what. V&S see the clock store proprietor, it’s the old man with the cane who banished D to the cave. He tells them to bring D in.

C76-D talks about the world into which he was born, his measuring devices, family, being imprisoned in the cave. D is getting more sick, has no idea how old he is, painfully inhales then collapses.

C75-V finds his body in a tube, all shrivelled & atrophied, skin is blotched and he looks to be in pain. The people watch his memories to remember how to feel. D explains that endless time causes un-appreciation, the days are limited to make time precious.

C74-D shows the future, few centuries ahead. There’s flying aircraft’s everywhere, difficult to distinguish gender, people’s heads seem larger. V sees people watching memories of his life that weren’t filmed, thinks he’s a legend in an exhibition.

C73-back in cryonics facility, G arrives (in the future look), she can’t see V but knows he’s in the tank. G hits and kicks the tank then walks out. V asks to be shown if the cryonics plan even works.

C72-V saw what happened to S, felt terrible for her. V notices D is looking very unwell as time goes but V is feeling much better. D says it’s V’s turn to be shown, they ascend together.

C71-they made their way through the future days. S sees E, a girl tells him she can’t believe E is blamed for S dying, S realised her death was insignificant to E. S sees the man from the homeless shelter asking where she is, says he likes her & hopes to see her again. S didn’t think anyone would miss her but sees L struggling with her death.

Future C70-D has a memory of his son. D pours the sand out then lays down the hourglass which increases in size then tells them they have to walk through it. S&V hold hands, everything goes black.

C69-D is questioned by V&S. D realises he coughed for the first time since before the cave. D says they’re in the middle of a moment then holds out the grain of sand, says what they do next is still unwritten. D plays clips of them asking for more/less time.

C68-S thinks of her childhood after her parents divorced, tells V about E and the bullying. S mentions being carried there by the clock shop man.

C67-V opened up, told S about his life and plans. S realises he didn’t tell his wife about his plans.

C66-V thinks S is in the cryo tanks too, that their souls have been left behind. He realises she knows nothing of cryonics.

C65-S woke to the hourglass too. S&V are moving but the world isn’t.

Stillness C64-V wakes up holding the hourglass, he sees S and she asks who he is.

C63-D screams out of frustration seeing 2 people trying to end their lives before he had the chance to help. D picks up S, carries her to V, wraps their fingers around the hourglass then put his fingers into the sand where the skin disintegrated?? D managed to stop time.

C62-D has been watching, he saw V get loaded into the van and taken to the facility, he saw S turn the car on and wait for the fumes to take her.

C61-L gets ready for a NYE party, she worries about S. S has already drank a bottle of vodka, decided tonight she would end her life. She took her phone and vodka then stumbled into the garage.
