I'm not sure what the point was of showing the whole backstory of alternate universe Nazi Reed. It's an interesting story, but why were we shown this? How does it fit with the story we're being told otherwise? Is it just to show us how evil many of the Reeds on the Council are/were? Because we already knew that.
