Officially DNF maybe it's me but am bored and the characters/story are not interesting enough for me to stick with it.

About to give up on this as the characters are okay but nothing special. The princess is SO NAIVE hard to imagine good thing the hunky Scot has stepped in to care for her. However they are boring, I don't even know if I can stick with this long enough to see who wants to kidnap her... ugg.

Finding this kind of boring and just not caring what happens to the main characters, kind of meh.

I will probably DNF this one as it is boring me, definitely not the caliber of Loretta Chase or Lisa Kleypas.

Typical historical so far am finding this meh. I just am not connecting with the writing/characters. A princess on her way to London, espapes after all her entourage is killed in roadside attack. She makes it to an inn where everyone laughs and thinks she is either mad or lying.

The hero and heroin got married because they wanted to have sex with each other. He doesn't believe her when she tells him that she is a princess. So as far as he is concerned, she is either a liar or delusional. She doesn't know anything about him. His past, if he has family, if he is rich or poor, where he live, if he has a home......

As he'd known for some time now, she was educated, well-spoken, cultured, and possessed of excellent manners. In all ways except her princess story, she was completely sane.

She talks like a princess, acts like a princess, is well cultured like a princess but she can't be a princess? Oh Danny boy...
