Listening to the audiobook and find I might as well laugh as anything else. It's always a risk to try to have your narrator do accents and this one fails spectacularly at the Amish accent, never mind pronouncing words that are supposed to be in. PA Dutch (German). Rumspringa is badly mispronounced. A basic knowledge of German would get it right.🫣 Lots of typical misconceptions about Amish people in the book.

Isabella Allan is a new mystery author I have discovered. An Amish Quilt Shop series, is very interesting so far. The main character's aunt married into the Amish community in Ohio & the she grew up in this community. Her family moved to Texas in her teen years & now she has returned to run her aunt's shop. But the lawyer can't find the deed that the store is hers & not some cranky Amish man's property!
