DUDE, Goodreads says I started this fifteen days ago but it felt like a month. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy it. Still, am v. ready to read something else. (That said, I love how the same people and families come up over and over again in these 1700s NF reads.)

The guy the book is about is so annoying. The book is becoming more and more a photograph of Georgian England with many unexpected and interesting intromissions of the American War for Independence: John André, Benjamin Franklin and John Laurens all make an appearance! It's fantastic.

A fun ride, with unexpected turns. And John André's ex makes a surprise appearance!
