20% in and I‘m starting to wonder when all the gruesome stuff happens that allegedly made people lose their sleep. Don‘t get me wrong, the assault so far is horrible and not to be wished on anyone, but it‘s just the same thing over and over again inbetween endless pages of the most pretentious dialogue I‘ve ever read. Not sure if I‘ll finish this one.

I don’t even know why I kept reading, but now I feel like I have to finish to see how it ends since I’ve come this far. It’s such a disappointing book. It’s so flat and boring. All this rumbling that ain’t doing what it thinks it’s doing
