It's interesting to get to know more of the historic parts that seem to have influenced what is happening in the current day events, but at the same time does it feel like everything is explained very slowly. In addition to that do I already find myself annoyed by the main character (again thanks to his "main-character-syndrome"), even if that is actually pointed out by the brilliant asshole "villain".
