I'm surprised at how often public library is in every city seem to be giving away books, but then I guess it makes sense, because readers ask for new books, and they run out of space especially with physical books, so then they have to give away the books that aren't circulating as much I suppose, so even if you are not a resident, quite often you can simply walk into the library and see where they have the free book
