Status Updates From Yellow Moon

There are many things to like here and some I could have done without. The coming-of-age parts of the story, like a darker twist on Stranger Things, is pretty cool. The town, especially the police dept., chief & dept heads, all very absorbing. But, I'm not as into the homeless characters connection to the storyline or the use of the ice cream man theme, tbh. Overall, enjoying it quite a bit and the writing is great!

Not enough pages left. I don't want this one to end!

Off to a great start. This book has some cracking prose. It was a little difficult rhythm-wise at first but then I figured it out...read faster! Now it's smooth and silky as warm butter.
