Took a break after reading about a man who was asphyxiated when he fell into a churning vat of grape slurry. Now a footnote says that Pere III, king of Aragon and Catalonia, quashed an uprising & ordered his men to boil down the bell the rebels used to signal meetings so they could "taste of its liquer" & molten lead was poured down their throats. I don't need a break this time... did Game of Thrones desensitize me?
