“i don’t think. therefore i’m not.” —siddhartha, probably

NVM THIS PHILOSOPHY IS SO SHIT AND YOURE ONLY TALKING ABOUT FORGIVENESS BECAUSE YOURE PRIVILEGED AND NEVER HAD A REAL PROBLEM IN LIFE. YOU NEVER EVEN HAD TO WORRY ABOUT FINDING A JOB BECAUSE KAMALA PROVIDED ONE TO YOU. hey guys the solution to war, oppression, apartheid, and abuse is to just love the world and accept its perfection!

oh this speech is actually pretty good. all the “wisdom cannot be taught, no one is good or bad” stuff

so when do siddhartha and govinda kiss

i’m tired of every man lauding existentialism because they’re privileged enough for it to be possible for them

“i’m gonna kill myself”: bad, dangerous, concerning, socially taboo

“i’m gonna walk into a forest with no food no water no resources and become one with the forest”: good, enlightened, praised, socially admired

when the river started communicating i thought siddhartha was dying and was like YES FINALLY
