So far, St Augustine as a child was mocked and beaten for falling behind his studies because he told God that it was not because of their lack of intelligence but rather being given too much for their age and adults punishing them would do the exact same except they wouldn’t be punished for it but call it a different term for it. He asked if anyone sensible agree that children being punished when adults are equal.
