Awesome insights of the Philippines & there politics. I also enjoy the authors bold writing and details.

One of the best thrillers that I've read. This book reminds me of the thrilling reading ride that I received when Allan Folsom's "The Day After Tomorrow" hit the bookshelves...long before the Internet rage...I still remember that 'scalpel that was used at degrees of absolute zero...anyway there are things going on in the Philippines that will make your jaw drop. Should finish this week. The story feels, unfortunately, very realistic. I have a new appreciation (not sure that's the right word) for life in the Philippines. Several grammar issues (specifically comma splices) but I know how hard it is to remove all the grammar issues in a sizable book.
