Status Updates From Lesson of the White Eagle

Not really loving the stylistic decision to tell the historical fiction part in a bunch of disjointed snippets instead of devoting a sizable chunk of time to an individual narrative. I feel like I got way more out of The Devil's Arithmetic and other such books because they gave you enough time to settle into the emotions of each of the historical fiction scenes.

Dusty reports the real story to the police and keeps thinking how Stephen must feel. Dusty worries about his friends Jimmy and Garrett. He thinks he did something wrong and just wants everything back to normal.

Dusty tells the police officer what had happened that day. Then Dusty begans to think how long will he be in prison.

Dusty is still in the hospital and is slowly remembering what happened to him.

stephens dad mr. crazy arrow is in intensive care. stephen takes the blame for his dad getting stabbed.

stephan and dusty become friends. dusty's parents dont want him to be hanging around with him.

Dusty ends up in the hospital and doesn't remember what had happened to him. The doctor said he had a severe coma and a broken elbow.

Thursday night i had returned to my room late and climbed into bed, pulled the covers over me, laid back against the pillow, and closed my eyes, when i heard people in the hallways outside my room. I listened a liuttle harder and reconized my parents' voices.

dusty gets moved to a new room in the hospital.

At the end it is telling about his and his friends adult lives. Dusty makes a stand and says a speech at the council meeting. In his adult life everybody is his friend except Garret.

ducty told the poilice the truth his father told him he was sorry. the ate lunch together, and dusty is scared of what might happen to him and his friend jimmy and his exfriend garret

Dusty told the police what all had happened between Garrett, Dusty, Jimmy and Crazy Arrow. A while after, Dusty started hanging out with Stepehen. They worked on assignements together and ate lunch together. Dusty told him about his dreams.

Chief White Feather takes Dusty to a powwow so he can see how its like. There's drummers and back-up singers. After that dream, Dusty wakes up in a hospital bed.

Dusty starts hagging out with Stephen. Jenna and Dusty are going to the city council meeting. He knows who cheif whit eagle is now.

It was a good book

Dusty has a dream about seeing that Chief White Eagle and he shows him hows its like back when he was younger. Dusty has another dream about

Dusty and his father tell the cops the real story about what happened.

Dusty is now friends with stphen crazyarrow. Dusty is now a teacher but had a few minor charges, Jimmy also had a few minor charges. Garret is now in and out of prison.Jenna is married to Leslie and they are traviling the world together. Dusty had a fulfilling life.

Dusty gets to leave the hopistal with Jenna and go to a meeting of the council. He said a speech about the natives and their land that everyone was proud of even his Dad was proud of. Dusty continued with his life as a friend of Stephen CrazyArrow. People now treated the indians diferently

Dusty has some more dreams with the White Eagle. He tells his dad the whole story. Dusty tells a lady the Indians were here first.
