...wow updates have a char limit?
Anyway, it's written/formatted like an adult harlequin romance (maybe my library just cat's it as YA) and I'm sorry feel free to disagree but starting off with a discussion of a character defending not/being queer feels like the author is stepping straight into an anti-queer dogwhistle trap and dare I say being too terminally online to realize it.
DNF'ing before pg 2, way to go.

First of all, what on here says anything about this being a YA book? YA books are designed a specific way, and I do mean that in a literal, concrete sense - from the cover art down to the font choice both inside and out and even how the author blurbs are fonted and arranged.
