Really repetive. Author cites any story or anything that has any similarity to Sunset Boulevard. Endlessly. And he’s not afraid of stating his bias. I was hoping fora book about the making of sunset but this is not that. I’m going to try to finish as I have about 70 pages left. It’s a slog.

Okay almost halfway thru. Fairly well written but the movie been made and shown and the awards handed out. What is the other half like? 200 pages on the influence of Sunset Blvd. On our society?. I sure hope not.
