Hmmm... I should have read the summary on the back before buying this; I made the quick assumption that it was going to be a non-fiction. The summary has hints of self-help which I, for the most part, do not like. But I always give a book a chance. I take 'don't judge a book by its cover' literally. At least it was only a quarter.

Deep and inspiring. As I am using this as an investigation of my behavior and motivations it is a slow read. Written to provide food for thought to therapists. I would have benefited from the author's method of therapy rather than the years of "justifying" my behaviors as merely human and accepting them. A compassionate and truly humane method of treatment.
