I was attracted to this book because
a) It was free. The Catching Lives bookshop typically offers a selection of its most pre-loved books for no money, and I've found a few gems this way
b) The title, witty and descriptive without trying too hard. It does what all titles should, provide a snapshot of the contents
c) Has the same sort of wry look about him as Mark Steel, and a similar outlook upon reading

This book is becoming rather heavy going and off topic to what I thought! Not sure how much longer I can read it for before giving up!
