Wow. This book continues to surprise me. Kranz continues to tell his story about the Mercury missions, and it is extraordinary. Kranz explains the less impactful to the strong, intense, adrenaline pumping decisions he has to make. I can't wait to see Kranz's creativity and detail come into play during the Apollo segment of thw book.

Just finished the first chapter of "Failure is Not an Option" by Gene Kranz. I was honestly surprised. The book includes lots of details, which can be hard for my brain to remember. Kranz does a great job narrating his time at NASA (at least the first chapter). Also, the book also can be extremely sciencey at times as well. I can't wait to keep reading, I hope it doesn't end like when I read The Great Gatsby.
