Idk there’s a lot of talk about perception of the self in and of itself and how that relates to consciousness while simultaneously coming to terms with the existence of the Other in and of itself and their perception of you right now and it’s hurting my head. Perfect theme for watching Fight Club for the first time though.

Christ that first excerpt from Kant while more digestible, was still hard like swallowing nails

Holy shit that introduction was the hardest thing I’ve ever read and to top it off, I’m still confused as to what the hell was going on. Either I’m an idiot or I am way beneath the level of philosophy that’s being written in this book’s intro.

Will this help me understand Kant or Derrida? Probably not. Will I still read through this? Absolutely
