salt foaming flood and the innocent Earth without evil or good.
It's rising now, the tide of sleep from the sacred South and the final sea.

It’s I, the dream-weaver, I whose light has turned to tears.

The snow is the face it shows at my windows: its whiteness will fall from the sky forever.
Forever, in silence, like the great gaze of God upon me; forever its orange-blossoms on my house; forever, like fate that neither falters nor ceases, it will fall and cover me, terrible, ecstatic.

I won’t call you again, for your journey’s done; my bare feet keep walking, yours are still.
