Status Updates From Flight Behavior

I’m thoroughly enjoying her writing style so far.

This one is proving to be a little more challenging to get through, but I think it’s just more focused on character development right now.

Did not enjoy this book as I did Kingslovers others. Found it annoyingly detailed and consumed with the daily trials and tribulations of kid care and living within a limited budget in a poor county. The subject matter feels like a current topic framework on which to hang a story. Feels gimmicky and not truly literary in content or language. Know this isn’t a popular view but it’s mine.
