Hero is a controlling psychopath. I forget it from my other time I read it but I think he purposely broke up her wedding.

He gives her two pills twice forcibly. Throws away her wedding trousseau. Chooses her clothes for her. Tells her she can’t sleep off her jet lag.

Keeper he is not.

I wonder what they will be like in future. She will be a wilting overweight resentful wife probably who shops till she drops

Couldn't finish it. My least favorite book by this author.

I wish the author used the word let go or removed her fingers rather than "unclipped" her fingers. I also don't like breastplate ugh
