getting more depressed by the page. the subject matter of the book is a incredibly heavy. need a break after the gruesome abuse little ben just suffered

incredibly depressing. makes me very sad and i comfortable. yet, ever page is sadly someone’s reality. doesn’t feel right to stop reading or abandon the book when there are countless families going through the same thing. i hope that the situation changes sooner rather than later.
