So he calls Sage to tell her about Alaska. Seems so unlikely that he hasn’t figured out their the same person 🙄 he tells Sage that he won’t call her no more because he likes someone else

Alaska threatens to burn his house down if she ever sees him again.

“I don’t plan to let you go”
“I’m not yours to keep”
“I know but you could be”

This guy is messed up, he openly tells her that he enjoys killing people, to which she is a little afraid but doesn’t bother her as much as it should. Then on the other hand he’s asking her about her nightmares and making sure she rests 🥰

Shit he is so fucking hot. In such a messed up way 🙈🥵 I love that he calls her trouble

He loved it when she was scared of him but I think he loved it more because despite the fear she was turned on.

“If you scream again, I’ll cut you. Do you understand?”

Once he made her come with his mouth and knife she freaks out and finally decides he’s dangerous and she has to run, so she does.

“I can’t wait for the day they fire you”

So I’m listening to this, and I have to say Corvin King definitely saves this book. Sometimes some of the writing feels off almost like it wasn’t proofread. “The dress I’m wearing right now cost me $5,000.
