Great story. Charnes definately belongs in the group of Espionage and Suspense Thriller Authors that include Ludlum, Bagley, Alistair Maclean and John Forsythe. This is a professional, well written and edited Independently Published Novel. It is complex, action oriented, yet takes time to allow readers to make human connections with the characters.
It'll keep you going to the very end. Great!

You really need to read this.
Super espionage/suspense thriller! ... you'll need lots of bullets, body armor or bullet proof vest and lots of klenex.
This is wonderfully straight foreward, the plot is tight and the setting very "real world." Great read so far.

Good story... keep a box of tissues next to your box of bullets!
Still very "Ludlum-esque" (which is a compliment from me). Good job of allowing some sympathy for the villains, but not enough you would let the live.
Some nifty ways of looking at our country through outsider's eyes, mentioning without getting bogged down in political issues. So far really good.

Good story so far, a nice blend of Ludlumesque old school properly and approrpirately updated to meet the modern world.
I like it so far.
(I had to restart because the last book was a really good one and very different. I wanted this one to get a fair shot. I'm glad I did. It's a good read).
