It talks about Celia's family and their lives. Then they meet Felicidad, who's Felicia's daughter, who lives in the U.S. It also shows how the family is starting to get separated becuase pf politics. Celia stays in Cuba becuase she's loyal to her country, and while the others leave.

It talks about this woman named Celia, who's a passionate woman who loves her country and teaches children about patriotic songs. Her daughter Lourdes admires her and follows her mother's strong belief. The Felicia, from a wealthy family, shows a different, more distant view of life.

Well, it shows three generations of a Cuban family, sadly getting split between Cuba and the U.S Celia stays in Cuba and supports the Revolution, while her daughter Lourdes moves to New York. Also, Louder's daughter, Pilar she feels a connection in Cuba and wants to feel more connected.
