Status Updates From Prisoner 88

Ummm this is a Middle Grade novel...why is there so much swearing?

so think that jake is a little too comfortable and im still wondering why he is in an adult prison hes 11 now is he there because he killed someone or like theft i have no clue i think that this book has some flaws

so its kinda weird how he never gets food likever and they expect him to live off bread and thats it i dont get it like were are the nutrients like dont we need vegtables and fruits like i didnt think we could live off of just bread

so i guess this little kid couldnt go to like juvie or something they send him too a prison i dont get it i think its weird how he talks weirdly i think hes from the south judging by the way he speaks but i have no clue

He was in court and after that he had to go to work right after. He does not have to take care of his hogs because it was his birthday.

He turned 11 now and the guards never made him work with the hogs. Te prisoners were so happy for him.

Jake does not know how to read so now he has to go asking a bunch of people to help him read but no one wants to besides a mean old man or a guy who is about to leave prison and a chinese man who only knows a little english those are some pretty bad options.

Mr.Criswell is treating Jake like his own son and the bond between them to is crazy but Mr.Criswell's grandson came back to the farm and now he feels left out almost like he is getting replaced by Jake so he gets jealous.

Mr nace lost his eyes and can't see any more. He said it was hard to read because of of the light but he was forced to read.

Mr Nance lost his eyes so he cant see anymore so Nance is going to ave to retire and leave the prison. Jake broke the fence so he had to fix it.

So I just found out that the man who punched jake is somehow related to Jake! Jake now has hate for him. But he's confused as well and still unsure why he punched him still.

So the guy that punched Jake hasn't even come out yet because he hurt one of the guards when they gave him food. If I were him I would do my time and never hurt someone like that again.

I met a new character his name is mr. Criswell he helps Jake with his prison job. Jake can do anything a grown adult can do in prison or even more and he can get away with anything to because he is younger than anyone in there. that's why he only gets little punishments.

Mr.Wu tried to teach him how to play a instrument. When he played he said he did terribly and it sounded lonesome.

So something happened and it could have almost gotten everybody in trouble. Stupid prisoner 67 thought it would be a great idea to mess with the warden. He messed with his office and locked everythiing.

Now there are a bunch of tiny little smelly piglets running around. Trying to keep them from getting out. I think it's funny because he's a farm boy but he's struggling to keep up.

He was a work and doing his usually. Then he noticed since he started working there the pigs have gotten bigger. Mr criswell said that butchering time is coming up.

Jake needs to stop getting his self in trouble or else prison is going to be so bad for him he might end up in the pit, the pit is a box with white walls and they make you go crazy which that was one of their punishments but he still hasn't got it.
