Something about the way Abby's family reacts to new food really bothers me, not as much as the way they react to any religion that isn't theirs, but it still bothers me. I will genuinely knock every rating I've given these books down a star if Abby, by the end of this book, still has not come to any realization about her family's nutty religion.
