Status Updates From The Complete Harry Potter C...

Help me! I'm in a church class, and it's so boring. I feel like they're attacking me again. They're bringing up straight marriages, and they asked me to read something aloud that basically said being gay is bad and that you're supposed to like girls as a man, and boys as a girl.

And having Harry in the Tri-Wizard Tournament seems a giant oversight by Dumbledore. On this re-read, Harry also is no regular boy with tumultuous emotions regarding girls, and seems more effeminate. But it is a kid's book and it's written by a lady. And Snape is loathesome, despite whatever cuck sacrifice. The contrived plot of Ron hating on Harry also seems completely ingenuine. My least favorite book so far. (2/2)

In Book 4 now, with an adult tone, especially with the Voldemort opening chapter with a Harry witnessing a murder. This books seems a lot more contrived, with having Barty Crouch Jr. disguised as Mad-Eye Moody seems like a giant plothole that the greatest wizard, Dumbledore, did not notice the difference. And that Jr. could have such advanced magic even despite being confined. (1/2)
