Status Updates From For Love and Glory

Don't know why this particular Poul Anderson book (he penned over 1,000), has such a low (3.03) Goodreads rating. So far, I've found it just fine. I've never felt I should stop reading. As I do read I feel fine. Problem is that this a bedtime book that I read in bed. After 4 hours of raking Fall leaves and then chasing the granddaughter around for another 4, I crawl in bed and pass out after turning 3 pages.

So far, so good. Who knew Poul Anderson wrote over 1,000 books?

It's a slog.

Book isn't going in the direction I'd hoped, but it is still readable.

It's not what I expected, but I'll push on. It reads fast enough.
