Status Updates From A Prisoner of Birth

I'm trying to hold on to the novel. I read some reviews that said the story is a modern version of the Count of Monte Cristo.

I'm not sure whether that will motivate me to go on. To read or not to read...

The courtroom scene is making me anxious.
At this point, I do hope Redmayne is capable enough to defend his client.

He slept with another, random woman?? What a fucker.

I wish I could urge Redmayne to be more proactive during the cross-examination of the witnesses. I feel sorry for Danny that his defence attorney is quite green.

As far as I remember, this is the first novel of Jeffrey Archer that features full-on courtroom scenes. The other novel I read recently has only a fraction, and that's already quite awesome.

I have high hopes not to be disappointed in this one.
