So many damn mysteries and intrigue chains!! Holy hell is it captivating, and if Abnett manages to tie all of those treads together, this might quickly become one of the best 40k books I've ever read

So much deep lore dropped for a one-off planet and Terran regiment. I'm starting to get why people love Dan Abnett, the world building is top notch.

Really cool intrigue/mystery start. "We are *all* Alpharius" hit like a truck, goddamn. Cold and incredibly badass.
