Action prologue with some guy hunting down werewolves in a motel. Good pacing for chapter one. Overweight woman driving home is raped by a werewolf, who she manages to stab in The eye, killing him. Her husband is in the driveway fucking another woman and then has to rush into the house to pick up a phone call from the hospital informing him of the attack.
