Status Updates From Oedipus the King

Don't get me started on the sight imagery. He's mocking Tiresias, not knowing that it will be his fate to end up blind. Also why is he being so rude to Creon, what did he ever do to him? Though he really seems to love Jocasta which is really disturbing.

OMG rereading this and the sheer amount of dramatic irony is killing me. It's everywhere. And I only just realised that Oedipus keeps having the Freudian slip, whenever anyone mentions the 'thieves' that killed Laius, Oedipus goes 'murderer' which is singular. It's crazy how he knows it was himself but doesn't at the same time.
