Oh the story finished at p130 and we have a backup short. it was a little abrupt but I think the ending did what it had to do.

Possibly the most sustained horror writing from Watanabe so far (in a series that was pure sensation fiction for so long). Kinda makes me want to follow her writing career into the 70s
