I read this book in 2020 and loved as have now downloaded the whole series. I’m re reading it to refresh my memory - wow what a book, living it as much as first time round and can’t wait to read the rest

I'm more and more certain Beth is a criminal. William's sister pulled a fast one on him. Very interesting, I want to keep going but I need sleep.

Why do I feel like Beth might be a criminal as well? William is too trusting with her considering he barley knows her.

Even though I suspected Fred would die I am still crying my eyes out. I mean it's so obvious - a few weeks from retirement, the last round with William, the pimp Fred has been hunting for a while...still, it's so sad
