Superman starts his run with very humble beginnings. Rather than flight he can leap for eight miles, outrun a train, and lift some heavy items. And while the writing very much feels like guys in their early twenties, you get fun & kooky ideas like Superman tricks a shady business owner to go down into mines he’s left with unsafe conditions to show him how his miners feel, or join the army to destabilize both sides

Technically I'm reading each issue on DC Universe Infinite, but I'm not going to read hours of old timey Superman and NOT have it count toward my reading goal... 😜
