Status Updates From The Shadow Earl (Shadows, #1)

So far, this is an interesting story, and reminds me of “The Count of Monte Cristo”. I’m finding it well written, the narration excellent, dialogue and descriptions fairly decent. I can tell this author is clearly not a Christian however. 🤷‍♀️ Either way, will see how the conflicts and romance concludes and report back when I finish listening to this captivating novel! 👀🫡

I love his friends. They went and found him and are managing his life and return to society.

I love listening to Alex Wyndham's narration. It is nice to hear mention of some of the characters from her Rockcliffe series.

March BOTM for the Historical Romance Book Club. Mistaken or Assumed Identity trope. It's also going to be my Georgian era read for March for Romance Across the Ages with the same group. I'm quite liking the book so far.

This is so interesting! She's taking this plot in such a unique direction! I have no idea where its going, or where it will end up. That's so refreshing.

Ah, I spoke too soon. this is a Rockliffe-world book. But our main characters (the Earl, his friends, and his fiancee) are younger than the characters we came to love in the first set of books.
