Status Updates From Captive Prince: Volume One ...

This is one of those books I’ve been ignoring my entire life with no desire of ever reading it, but I saw comments that made me curious all of a sudden. Let’s see how it goes.

It’s entertaining me (finally) but it’s waaaay too overly complicated and the writing is genuinely making me want to bash my head into a wall

The writing is weird and confusing 😭

the pacing is bonkers. i understand not wanting to change too much in a story that already has invested readers. the final product does suffer for it though.
and the ending is so abrupt! i forgot how abrupt the ending is!! its like someone sold me half of a novel. this trylogy could have been one book!
