Status Updates From Noli me tangere

Idk why I expected the writing of this book to be quite drab or dry. Maybe because of its association as the catalyst for my countrymen’s revolution against Spain, due to that I had a presumption that this text had the banal sterility of something like the bible, it doesn’t help as well that time has elevated this novel to the status of a sacred text under the gaze of the Filipino.

Yea im gonna dnf this translation suuuuuuxxxxx

Fun fact: I’ve read this twice already, but this is the first time I’m reading it in English
