Status Updates From Timeless

Wy did the author just feel the need to define 'dibs' and 'frenemies'? I changed my mind. A 12 year old would know those terms. I now think the author is about 70 and went around asking high schoolers about their 'lingo' nowadays.

"I'm not good enough for you. Your family is part of the elite and I come from a struggling middle class family." Ugh that is seriously where they decided to take this story. So bored, just skimming the rest to see what the twist at the end supposedly is. Mildly curious.

Also pretty sure the MC is a 12 year old. Shrieking over the diner and the jukebox. I think the story itself may have been written by a 12 year old girl too.

Wait... I might be wrong but I think her favorite movie is grease... Just maybe. It's only been mentioned like 12 times so far.

...I feel like every cliche ever is already present in this story... Bad sign. And not a fan of the writing style... Everything is phrased very strangely. Hmm to DNF or to keep going...
