Status Updates From Nove Estórias

just finished the first story. it's tricky to categorise. i'd say it's about a returned ex-serviceman with a history of mental illness and - i don't know if i'm misinterpreting this - a sexual thing for feet and children??? the ending was very final and wrapped things up but left me with more questions than answers. there was an ominious feeling mid-way through that kept me reading though

Off to a great start

part way through the first story. at first i thought it might be an unreliable narrator and the girl was actually... well, not in a hotel. but now the young girl in the bikini is in the picture and the guy is making me uncomfortable the way he deliberately says the wrong thing (like in the picture book 'this is a ball') and is like, 'come closer... oh you're right'. i have a bad feeling
