The Woman on the Dunes
This one sat a little better with me compared to the first one - i also just learnt that these works were each commissioned. this knowledge has shifted how i make sense of her work, instead seeing it as a demonstration of her skills in crafting literature that can showcase human desire through a lens different to her own!
